Rules


GENERAL RULES

1. Registration opens at 9:00 and runs till your class starts.
2. Start 12:00, Drivers meeting 11:30 am.
3. Everyone pays $10.00 at the gate. Kids 10 and under are free.
4. 100% payback per class.
​        50% 30% 20%​​ for  14 trucks and under.
        ​40% 30% 20% 10% for 15 trucks and up.
​​​5. Bounty 100$ per pit fast E.T, Unless extra purse money is added.
6. NO GLASS CONTAINERS ON GROUNDS!!!!
7. All ATV Riders must have a helmet if you are moving.
8. Helmets must remain in place until the truck is completely out of the bog pit. INCLUDING PULL BACK!!!
9. Drivers are Required to wear a D.O.T. approved helmet during competition.
10. Parents are responsible for behavior, conduct, and supervision of their children.
11. Race Officials reserve the right to qualify or disqualify any vehicle on the basis of its safety features at the time of                          inspection.
12. Tech committee members have the right to disqualify or suspend drivers at their discretion for violation of any rules.
       This includes pit crews.
13. You can only protest the class in which you run. No payback or trophies will be given in such until the dispute is settled.
14. Points go to the driver of the truck; he/she has registered for the season points.
15. Driver may rebuild a destroyed vehicle and enter in the next race with the same vehicle name​​​​​​.
16. Protest must be in writing with in 15 mins of the class affected.
17. Judges decision final!! Any other ruling must come from a formal protest in WRITING by a registered driver in that class             and must be submitted to the officials within 15 mins of the last truck in that class running. Any questions or arguments             after this time will not be allowed.
18. Vehicle is allowed to run a maximum of 3 classes and may be entered twice in the same class with different drivers.
19. Once a vehicle pulls to the line and breaks the start beam that constitutes a run. There are no scratches or refunds after             this point.
20. All vehicles must have a solid safe front and rear tow point. no call hook ups. All trucks must have a clevis on hitch.
21. NO FIGHTING!!! May be grounds for disqualification for the remainder of the season.
22. Drivers have 3 mins to get to the starting line when their name/numbers are called.
23. If a Driver is unable to make it to the starting line within the allowed 3 mins due to mechanical failures only they will be               allowed to drop back 1 position 1 time only!
24. EXCEPTIONS: when a vehicle has run consecutively the vehicle is allowed 5 mins for driver change, if consecutive runs           can not be avoided at decision of tech officials​​​​​​​​​​​.
25. No tire chains allowed.
26. Once a vehicle trips the timing lights, the race is over. Even if the rear wheels then hit a stake,  at that point the race is                  already over.
27. Must be present at the event and on the starting line to break the starting line beam to receive points in vehicle.
28. If manual measuring is used, the front hub will be used as the measuring point.
29. Vehicle must be in neutral when being towed back through the pit. Absolutely no use of brakes.
30. Helmets must remain in place during pull back, Violators may be disqualified.
31. Any loose articles falling out of the vehicle and into the pit during a run will result in disqualification. Except fixed                         mechanical parts which can not be anticipated.​​​​​​​​​​​
32. NO REFUNDS after a class has started, NO REFUNDS if you are disqualified.
33. Obey the flag man when hooking up the cable, must be in neutral and hands must be off the steering wheel and in the air.
34. All Vehicles must be pulled from the pit from the rear if stuck before reaching finish line.
35. Officials may approve towing from the front in the event of breakage.
36. Truck classes 100 through 500 will run back​​​​​ to back passes. Classes 600 & 700 have the option to run single passes or              back to back.
37. All tires must have factory size stamping. if stamping is no present or has been ground off this vehicle will be moved to the       700 class. This is considered modification.
38. Cable hook up is mandatory for every entry unless officials rule otherwise.
39. Drivers are required to be sober!
40. NO passengers when vehicles racing.
41. Functional flat beds allowed in all classes: Must be within 2” of cab. Must be full length of unmodified frame:
​      No plywood or OSB!

SAFETY RULES

1. Drivers are required to wear D.O.T Approved helmets during competition. Helmet must be left in place until out of the pit             including pull back. violators will be disqualified for that pull.
2. Eye protection which is face shields, safety glasses, or goggles are required in all vehicles without windshields or tops.
3. Lap seat belts or 4 Point harness are required for street stock and super stock classes. Pro Stock and Pro Open Classes           MUST have a 4 point​​ harness.
4. Pro Stock and Pro Open vehicles running alcohol or nitrous must have outside ​kill switch and be accessible if vehicle is on     its side or top. The driver will be responsible to inform officials of switch operation. Kill cable hook up is optional to driver.
5. 1 1/2" roll bars must be adequate stability and securely mounted. .090 thickness roll bar is required in Pro Stock and Pro           Open vehicles. If vehicle is gutted of any structural component removed or cab is open (I.E. Blazer/Bronco). Roll bar is               required in all open top vehicles.​​
6. Super Stock, Pro Stock, and Pro Open classes require 360 Degree drive shaft loops - 2 inches wide and approximately 1/4"      thick. 2 Loops per drive shaft. Location closest to U-Joints as possible. NO CHAINS!! Better safe than sorry!​
7. Transmission blanket or shield must be SFI approved required in Pro Stock and Pro Open. If competing in classes lower            than Pro Stock with the use of trans brake still required!​
8.  Mechanical clutch equipped vehicles must have an NHRA approved explosion proof bell housing with block saver plate            required in Super Stock, Pro Stock, and Pro Open classes.
9. Double return springs required on accelerator linkage.
10. Side bar required if vehicle is without a driver side door for Super Stock, Pro Stock, and Pro Open.​
11. Any vehicle using nitrous or alcohol must wear fire suit including jacket pants and helmet.
​​12. Neck collars required in Pro Stock and Pro Open. Your choice in smaller classes.
13. 4 wheel hydraulic brakes required in all classes. No drive line brake.
14. Functional steel or aluminum flat beds allowed in ALL classes. NO plywood/OSB!!!! Officials decision is final!!
15. Fuel cells allowed in all classes.
16 Stock style or ratcheting style shifters allowed in all classes.
17. Windshields mandatory in classes 100 through 500. if removable structures (I.E. jeeps/broncos) must be present on                    trucks.​​​​​​​​
18. Fire extinguishers required in Street Stock, Super Stock, Pro Stock, and Pro Open classes.​



CLASS 100- 4&6 CYLINDERS

Current license and registration required. Must be street legal.

TIRES:

1. Any D.O.T. approved: NO boggers or an other similar tires.
2. Original manufacture’s motor and frame.
3. Fuel cells allowed.
4. No trans brakes.
5. Must run mufflers.
6.Trucks with open top must have 4 point roll bar and 4 point harness.



CLASS 200 FACTORY STOCK

Current license and registration required. Must be street legal.

TIRES:

1. Max 35” and under, D.O.T. approved: NO BOGGERS, NO BARRED OR CUT tires.

ENGINE:

2. Single carburetor. NO Demons, No Dominators.
​3. Stock intake and exhaust manifolds required. Mufflers required, must exit behind cab. No Vacuum requirements.
4. Factory stock ignition systems.​ (NO MSD Distributors or boxes)

BODY AND FRAME:

5. Gutting of interior only allowed for installation of air breather system.
6. Original manufacturer frame and matching body.
7. Fuel cells allowed.
8. No trans brakes.
9. Stock seat in factory location or 2 bucket seats in place of bench seat.
10. 4” body or suspension lift allowed.
11. NO Ladder bars or traction assists​ allowed.
12. Functional Flatbed allowed. NO plywood or OSB!!






CLASS 300 STREET STOCK

Current license and registration required. Must be street legal.



TIRES:

1. Max 50” and under, D.O.T. approved: NO bogger, NO barred or cut tires.

ENGINE: Factory block and heads OEM cast. Factory OEM aluminum heads if Make, Model, and Year came with.

2. Headers allowed.
3. Racing fuel or pump gas only. NO additives, exotic fuel or alcohol.
4.Mufflers required. Must exit behind cab.
5. Single carburetor: NO predator, NO dominators, NO king demons.
6. Aluminum dual plane manifolds allowed: NO single plane manifolds.
7. After market ignition allowed.

BODY AND FRAME:

8. Full stock body with full stock frame. NO mini bodies on full frame.
9. Full stock box or functional flat bed. NO plywood or OSB!
10. OEM Style drive train for body and frame.
11. Functional bumpers required.
12. NO fiberglass replacement parts.
13. Full interior including bench or 2 bucket seats, dash pad, door panels, windows cranks, and heater/defroster controls               must be present. Gutting allowed for air breather system.
14. Windshield wiper and working lights.
15. Stock style or ratcheting shifters allowed.
16. Radiator, battery, stock style water pump, and alternator required in stock location.
17. Open top vehicles must have roll bar.
18. Fuel cells allowed.
19. Accessible kill switch within drivers reach.
20. Accessible fuel shut off switch within drivers reach.
21. Full OEM style suspension.
22. NO ladder/traction assist allowed.
23. Lift kits allowed.
24. 4 wheel hydraulic brakes required.




CLASS 400 SUPER STOCK #1

If factory hard top removed, vehicle must have 4 point roll bar.

TIRES:

1. 35” and under factory size tire; NO cutting. Numbers must be visible or we will gauge them.

ENGINE:

2. Single carburetor: NO after market blocks.
3. After market CAST heads allowed. NO aluminum!! 
4. Any exhaust allowed.
5. MSD or other after market ignition allowed.
6. Racing fuel or pump gas only: NO nitrous NO alcohol.
7. Motor swaps allowed, but brands of engine & truck must be the same.
8. Radiator, stock water pump , and alternator required in stock location.
9. Battery relocation allowed: Must be securely mounted in battery box, and all wiring must be secured and protected.

BODY AND FRAME:

10. Stock body and full stock frame (I.e. full size body on full size frame) .
11. Body swaps allowed. Must match manufacturer and production size. NO fiberglass bodies.
12. Due to body swaps, Motor locations determined by center line of harmonic balancer over center line of front axle.​
13. No body and frame alterations other than to accept body and frame mounts.
14. No narrowing or shortening of frame or body.
15. No missing body parts.
16. Body and box must remain intact, but interior gutting is allowed.
17. If factory hardtop removed or open top, vehicle must have a 4 point roll bar.
18. Fuel cells allowed.
19. Accessible kill switch within drivers reach.
20. Accessible fuel shut off switch within drivers reach.
​SUSPENSION:

21. Full OEM style suspension: lift kits allowed.
22. Ladder/traction bars allowed.
23. 4 wheel hydraulic brakes required.
24. NO coil overs / 3 or 4 link suspension.​






CLASS 500 SUPER STOCK #2
 
​Rules are the same as class 400 except tire size.
NO Fiberglass bodies.​

TIRES:

1. Any D.O.T. approved tire: NO cut tires or tractor tires. Up to 54” boggers.



CLASS 600 - PRO STOCK

TIRES:

1. D.O.T. approved: NO cut tires





ENGINE:

2. Any internal engine modifications allowed.
3. Aluminum heads or blocks allowed.
4. No nitrous.
5. Tunnel ram manifolds: multiple carburetors allowed.
6. No vacuum requirements.
7. Any ignition: engine swaps allowed.
8. Any exhaust allowed.

BODY AND FRAME:

9. Battery, fuel cells, tank relocation allowed.
10. Full Factory frame and body swaps allowed.
11. Single racing seat allowed.
12. Fiberglass replacement parts allowed.
13. Full original box or functional flat bed: NO plywood/OSB.
14. Roll bar required if cab back or top is open. I.e. blazer/bronco.
15. Floor and firewall required.
16. Any coil over suspension allowed: NO chain steering.
17. 4 wheel hydraulic brakes required.
18. Motor set backs allowed.​





CLASS 700 PRO OPEN

TIRES:

1. Any size allowed.

ENGINE:

2. No regulations: Run what ya brung, open fuel.

BODY AND FRAME:

3. Required if vehicle gutted, and structural component removed or cab back is open, I.E. blazer/bronco.
4. Body swaps allowed.
5. Any frame (including tube) and body (including fiberglass) combinations.
6. Fuel cells and tank relocation allowed.
7. Minimum 4-point roll cage (.090 thicknesses) secured to frame.
8. Gutting allowed.
9. Open top vehicles require 6-point cage.
10. Maximum 150”wheelbase.



SUSPENSION:

11. All modifications allowed.
12. ALL SAFTEY FEATURES REQUIRED.
13. 4 wheel hydraulic brakes required.

E.T. drag rules are based on the bog class combinations.

CLASS 1 includes 100 and 200 of the bog rules.     $30 entry fee.

CLASS 2 includes 300 and 400 of the bog rules.     $50 entry fee.​​​​​​

CLASS 3 includes 500 and 600 of the bog rules.     $60 entry fee.​​

CLASS 4 open​ class.                                                       $70 entry fee.​

100% payback total entries combined per class. Divided 50% 30% 20%​​

for 2013, best 7 finishes scored.
6 of 8 events must be entered to be eligible for series awards.
